Get Traffic to Your Blog with Social Bookmarking

Using social bookmarking to get traffic to your blog is a newer way to bring in traffic. The way this works is that you go to the social bookmarking sites create an account and then submit you link to your blog. When you submit a link you are able to put tags with it. The reason that you use tags is so that you will be able to find it later but you are not the only one that can find it. Putting the proper tags is very important because it allows people that are interested in what your blog is about to find it.

Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking can provide you with a lot of high quality back links so you can get more organic traffic from the search engines. This happens because people can share your feeds with anybody that they think would be interested in your blog. If this is how you’re going to get traffic to your blog then you need to make sure that you are actually social. If you never submit any other feeds other than yours you’ll get quickly labeled a spammer and get kicked off the social bookmarking sites.

Using forum marketing is another highly sociable way to get traffic to your blog. When you are in a forum they allow you a signature that can have links in it. You want to use something that is going to pique the interest in whatever your blog is about.

If you’re having a hard time finding forums about your topic you can ask Google. Put “topic of blog + forum” in the search engine to get a list of the different relevant forums.

In order to get traffic your blog you need to become an authority figure on your topic. The best way to do this is to make sure that you’re actually contributing to the community. Make sure your answers are well thought out and actually help people. Do not spam the forums, which will not get you any traffic and will quite possibly get you kicked out.

Another good way to get traffic to your blog is through article marketing. If you are already forum marketing then you will have an unlimited amount of things to write about. To easily compose an article just go to the forum and see what questions people are asking and either answer them or see what other peoples answers are. Simply take the information you learned, rewrite it into your own words, and submit it to article directories. If you want to see a huge increase in the traffic from the articles you’re writing then you should consider using an article submission site. An article submission site can submit unique articles to thousands of different article directories for you
