Your Linkedln page gives you a very important opportunity to promote yourself. However, many companies fail to make good use of this opportunity due to one reason or another. In this article, I have listed the various steps you can follow to create a successful LinkedIn page.

Step1. Create the company’s email address:

For any company to sign up for a LinkedIn page, it must have an email address. Sign up for an email address to enable you create the LinkedIn page.

Step2. Write a compelling summary of the company:

The company’s LinkedIn homepage contains the cover page, the cover photo, the company’s updates, its links to its products and services, links to the career opportunity page and many more pages. You should write a brief description of the company at the bottom of the homepage. Even though you will also be needed to write an “about us” page at the bottom of the homepage of the LinkedIn company page, it is essential to write a brief description of the company.

Step3. Add the products and services offered by the company:

Include a product and service tab in your company’s homepage. In this page, you can share the images of your products, their description and also add various links that the potential customer can follow if he/she wants to purchase your products. We call this the sales section. With all means, try to sell your products to your potential customers in this page.

Step4. Ensure that the important products are listed first in your products list:

The products and services page should be in a list format. Ensure that the most important products are listed first and the rest below it. By doing this, you will be selling these products first. It also ensures that you have the products that people want come first while the rest follow.

Step5. Capture the potential customer’s attention using a fantastic cover photo:

A cover photo is the picture that appears on the company’s homepage. I don’t really need to emphasize on how the photo should look, it’s only logical to have an amazing and beautiful photo as your company’s cover photo. When a person visits your company’s page, his/her eyes will first come to contact with the cover photo before anything else.

Post an appealing photo that will sell your company’s reputation. The photo should attract more customers instead of repelling them. In addition, the cover photo should describe what your company does. It should give your potential customer prior knowledge about the company.

Step6. Add career information:

Currently, you have to part with a small fee to add the career page in your company’s LinkedIn page but LinkedIn is the most suitable place to source good talent. It is the place where you will meet professionals from all fields. If you decide to use LinkedIn as a recruiting place, ensure that you have the career page. Otherwise you will be missing a huge opportunity.

Step7. Find followers:

You can now ask your employees to follow the page and identify themselves with your company profile. Once they do this, they will appear as employees to your company. As people view this, they will be attracted to like your page and buy more products from your company. This is because people love working with well-established companies whose employees are professionals.

Step8. Ask for reviews about your company’s products and services:

This is one of the most powerful areas that the company’s LinkedIn page has. The reviews are written testimonies about how your products have benefited the customers who have used it. Each customer posts his/her positive review about his/her experience with using the product. The positive review definitely will attract more customers.

Step9. Post important updates about your company:

The creation of interesting and important updates enables you to interact with your followers and potential customers to the maximum. Post informative updates that meet the demands of your targeted audience and offer them necessary information.

Step10. Promote the company’s LinkedIn page:

Last but not least, promote your company’s LinkedIn page. You can put the ‘follow’ button at the bottom of your company’s website or request your friends from the other social networks to follow your company on LinkedIn.

Step11.

Keep the all the content in your company’s LinkedIn page useful, fresh, interesting and meaningful.

Following these guided steps will guarantee creation of your company’s LinkedIn page to be a great success.
