All About The Samsung Galaxy S3
3 minutes | Word Count: 564The new Samsung flagship phone is the Galaxy S3. It was always going to be a fantastic phone and Samsung have delivered on their promises. The phone has amazing battery life, the screen is truly superb, it runs on a quad core processor and the media management is the best available. Is there anything bad to say about the device? Well, if you don’t like the Samsung design, you’re not going to like this one either. Also, the S Voice is not perfectly optimized, but we’re sure an update will quickly sort that one out.
Why the Galaxy Is So Amazing
The S3 isn’t new anymore. In fact, some people think that the S4 will soon be available (although that’s not confirmed yet). However, what we do know is that the S3 has now been updated to Jelly Bean 4.1, which means it is even better than before. Besides the fact that it is even quicker than before and there are lots of additional goodies in there too.
Changes to the Interface
There are a number of changes to the interface, but the biggest one is the new TouchWiz and we all absolutely love it. We already loved the phone, which is exactly what Samsung had banked on, but now we live it even more. In fact, in November of last year alone, they sold over 30 million of the devices. OK, that means we are not original in owning an S3, but that’s what the skins are for right?
Prices
One of the most amazing things is that the price of this phone is actually very affordable. Sure, you will have to pay a bomb if you want it SIM free, but if you want it on a contract, it is no more expensive than any other phone and it is certainly a lot cheaper than other top-end phones. After all, there are only two real top end phones on the market today, which are the Samsung Galaxy and the iPhone. The iPhone is certainly more expensive and most people still find it too restrictive because it doesn’t sync or integrate well with other devices.
Should You Buy It?
The big question is whether or not you should buy this phone. The reality is that there is really nothing bad about this device, unless you start nit picking. Sure it has a big screen and it looks almost like a tablet, but that’s what a Samsung looks like. There is nothing wrong with that design, it is just about personal preference. If you didn’t like the look of the original Samsung Galaxy, you’re not going to like any upgrades on the flagship. Our personal opinion is that the lost lawsuit against Apple brought them nothing but benefits. Sure, it was an expensive piece of publicity, but it was well worth it. After all, who wouldn’t want to be seen with a new Galaxy nowadays, even more so than an iPhone? You will have to decide for yourself.
Author Bio: Laura Ginn had always used an iPhone but became intrigued by the new Samsung devices. As her contract was ready for upgrade, she took a leap of faith and went for the Samsung Galaxy S3. She is so happy she made that decision!
